I put this site together to promote my book, "Under The Influence," and to blog about recovery from addictions as well as growth as we follow Christ, then I added a few pages that you may find interesting, including stats, other sites, even a Amazon link if you feel like shopping. The book is a guide for those struggling to stay clean and sober from alcohol and drug abuse, but can be used to help with any addiction. If you are serious about recovery, or the recovery of a loved one, you know that starting your day and ending the day are two critical times. We need to pray, and meditate about the day ahead, and then review the day before sleep. This is where the book can turn the tide of your recovery. It is a simple 5 minute read, perfect for us addicts and alcoholics that have a hard time with reading epic works when we arrive into recovery. We like simplicity. Get this book, let the scriptures guide your path, the quotes inspire you, the comments give you pause to think and act, the prayer develop into true fellowship with God, and the gratitude be your address.
