Looking for Proof

The Bible is renounced of being anything more than a story book, by many higher learning "educators,"
 claiming no one even knows who wrote it. More than likely their claim stems from the teachings these folks heard in their education.  So the chain of mis-information continues without research that is unbiased.
These also denied, at one time the existence of king David, Solomon, Jesus, and of course the creation story, which even Bible believers  must accept by faith. A disturbing fact in the Christian world is that even many of followers of Christ have little understanding in Biblical truth and DO NOT consider the Bible to be taken literally. 25% of post graduate educated Christians feel the Bible is fables, not to be taken literally. Archeaological finds are proving much of what the secular educators claim was myth, and proving as truth. How did we as followers of Christ, and believers in the Bible, fail in the endoctrination of our followers? What do you think? what do you believe?

Theories of man's origin

Different theories held by man as to the origin of life, and also those by theologians, as to how God may have created all things:
1) Evolutionary systems. The belief that there is no God, things have evolved to where we are today by deaths and mutations, a survival of the fittest. This is the secular view taught in public education as "fact."
2) Day-age theory: This position is that each day of creation represents eons, which may be a million yrs or even longer or lesser. Ex. on the sixth day God created man over a period of a million yrs.
3) Relevatory Day: This position holds that Moses received information in regard to creation, from God over a six day period. Ex. God told Moses over a 24 hr period, the beginning of creation. The next day when God talked to Moses, He continued the relating of creation.
4) Gap theory: This position is held by the belief that the Earth is still very old, billions of years. Genesis 1:1 took place, then eons passed, thus a gap between Gen.1:1 and 1:2.

About the Bible

Here are some of the many facts about the Bible that every Christian should know:  The Bible has 66 books; 39 books make up the Old Testament, 27 make up the New Testament. All were written over appx. 1600 yrs by a distinct 40 different authors. The OT written appx. between the yrs 1500-400 B. C. Mostly in Hebrew with some Aramaic.
The firtst 5 books were written by Moses. These are part of the history of Israel, but are considered the books of the "Law." (Torah) The remaining books are, History - Joshua to Esther    Poetry- Job to Song of Songs (Solomon)  Major prophets- Isaiah to Daniel   And the Minor prophets- Hosea to Malachi
The ancient writers (scribes) of the Jewish people used a counting system to keep the accuracy of the Holy Books. Each line and paragraph were counted before and after the copy was written. If any mistakes were made the copy was immediately destroyed, imagine a whole scroll destroyed ove a single mistake. This tradition was maintained until 1400 A.D. when the printing press was invented.
The New Testament was written over a period of 50 yrs. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Peter, James, Jude wrote the New Testament (New Covenant) books. In A.D. 200 the NT was translated from Greek to Latin, Coptic, and Syriac- all were considered inspired. In 397 A.D. the Books were formally canonized to prevent cults, or off-shoot, and heretical movements from perverting the 27 books.
There are 24000 ancient manuscripts discovered so far- 2nd best preserved, (Homer's Iliad is best preserved with 640 manuscripts discovered so far), all hand written .
